M.B.A Admission Procedure Admission Procedure Entrance Examination Buy Application form Group Discussion Personal Interview Final Selection Candidates for admission shall be required to possess a minimum of 40% in the main branch of study of a Bachelors Degree of the University of Madras or any other University or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto. On selection, the candidates other than the University of Madras have to produce their eligibility and the recognition certificate from the University of Madras. General Information Prescribed Applications are available at the College Office on the payment of Rs.150 /-by cash for UG, RS.250 /-for PG and Rs.500 /-for M.B.A. Out station applicants can send a DD adding Rs.25 /-drawn in favor of the principal, Sri Sankara Arts and Science College on any bank payable at Kanchipuram. Separate application forms are to be used for Evening College. Application form may also be downloaded from our website www.sankaracollege.edu.in. All applicants should bring their original TC Conduct and Community certificates and Mark sheets along with the photo copies duly attested, a passport size photograph and their parent / Guardian at the time of interview for admission. The fees recommended by the Government for self -financing Arts and Science colleges will be applicable for all students of UG and PG Classes. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. The College does not collect donation or capitation fees in any form either before, at the time or after admission. Admission is subject to the verification of Mark Sheets by the Director of Government Examinations and if the Mark Sheets are found to be bogus, admission will be cancelled besides criminal action being taken. Separate Hostel facilities are available for outstation men and women students. There is a vegetarian mess run on the Dividing system. Application for admission into the Hostel can be made to the Hostel warden only after admission into the college. Admission to the Hostel cannot be claimed as a mater of right. Separate Hostel facilities are available for women. There is a canteen inside the college premises. College Buses provides service to the students at nominal fare. All students should conform to the rules of discipline and good behavior and should not indulge in any activities directed against the authorities or the Government. In all matters connected with the college the decision of the college authorities is final. The Last Date for the Receipt of filled in application is 10 days from the date of publication of Plus Two & University of Madras Degree results for UG and PG respectively.
