MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1984 with an annual intake of 60 students. The department, with goals and aims march towards better excellent records both on curricular and co – curricular activities/ services to the students society for the past two decades successfully. As a growth and development of our department during the year 2003 – 2004 we got an additional intake of 30 seats, which justifies our quality.

Mechanical Engineering Department has well qualified, highly experienced dedicated and result oriented staff members. The department has full-fledged laboratory facilities. The students are given trainings in the areas of fabrication and software developments apart from their academic studies. During the winter and summer vacation periods students are send for industrial trainings in public sector and private organizations. To have an upto date practical knowledge, industrial visits are arranged to the students in both the semesters. Students are motivated to participate in curricular and co curricular activities within and outside the institution. For the past eight years mechanical engineering department produced 100% results.

On it way avalanche of success, our department of mechanical engineering produced a number of state top rankers in board examinations, by which quality is assured to a greater excellence. Most of the students are self employed, under gone higher studies and placed in various industries.

Diploma Civil Engineering (DCE)
