Diploma Accounting (DA) - NorthWest College for Advanced Learning, New Delhi

Developed in consultation with academics and professionals throughout Southeast Asia as well as the UK, this diploma gives you an understanding of accounting and finance that will be useful throughout your career. The programme does not simply teach accounting techniques and focus on computational skills with the aim of immediate application, but enables you to evaluate their usefulness in different contexts. You are encouraged to adopt a critical and flexible viewpoint and to look at the subject from a variety of perspectives, including the international dimension. Eligibility * To be eligible to register for a Diploma for Graduates, you must: * Hold a full first degree (at least a second class honours degree) completed in a minimum of three years duration on a full-time basis (or equivalent) from a university or other institution, acceptable to the University of London AND * Demonstrate that you have reached a level of competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE 'O' level in a Mathematical subject at Grade C or at least 70% marks in class XII (CBSE and other Indian Boards) AND * The applicant must have scored above 70% marks in English in Class XII (CBSE and other Indian Boards). If the applicant does not match this requirement then NWC and UOL require the applicant to pass International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of at least 6 with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test or Test in English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 580 (or 237 on the computerised test) plus the Test of Written English (TWE) with a score of 4.5 (or a Writing Rating of 4.5 in the computerised test) Please Note: Applicants holding professional and/or postgraduate qualifications without a full first degree cannot be considered for admission to a Diploma for Graduates.
