Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Before 1994, among self-supporting Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh only a few offered B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. To meet the ever-growing demand for electrical power, many power plants of large capacities need to be brought in pipeline in private and government sector. Since there is a requirement for large number of Electrical graduates, this department is offering a course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in B.Tech. level since 1994 and is committed to produce well-trained electrical graduates . Knowledge:To provide sound knowledge in the fundamentals of engineering sciences which is required for engineering careers in a changing and challenging technical environment, to prepare them for successful participation in multi-disciplinary teams. Application:The necessary training is imparted so that the in depth knowledge of the concepts, techniques and tools of the electrical engineering discipline can be applied in engineering design and problem solving. Innovation:To arise enthusiasm among the students to continually renew their education in a rapidly developing discipline and enabling them to involve in the research and development activities.
