Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil engineers are employed in all the major construction projects carried out by the state or central government, the railways, private construction companies, military, engineering services, consultancy services etc. Civil engineering graduates can also go in for research and take up teaching or they can open their own independent consultancy services. B.Tech. Civil Engineering (CE) : Seats - 60+ 60* Eligibility HS (10+2) Science or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology having passed in each of the subjects with 45% marks in the above subjects taken together(40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/ Minority) Criteria for Selection B.Tech Programme : (i) Rank in ERDF CET OR (ii) Vaild AIEEE Score (upto 15% of total Intake) OR (iii) Nomination by the concerned Directorate of Technical & Higher Education Fee Structure( For Mechanical & Civil Engineering)
