Industrial Chemistry Department The Industrial Chemistry Department at V.P. & R.P.T.P. Science College offers degree programmes (B.Sc.) in Industrial Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (Vocational). The Department is equipped to carry out routine chemical analysis along with the specific analytical facilities for Water, Cement, Metals and Alloys, Pigments, Dyes, Petroleum products, Pharmaceuticals, Polymer Synthesis and dyes preparations. The Department laboratory is also equipped with chemical Engineering Experiments. The Department also has research laboratory to carry out research in the field of Dyes, Drugs, Pharmaceuticals and Polymers. Faculty Members of the department are actively involved in research, Minor and Major research projects funded by the UGC and Industrial Consultancy. The department also arranges for Campus interview for Third Year students. Various faculty members are also invited by other institutions as Guest Faculty.
