This degree provides you with an understanding of the way in which financial intermediaries and institutions operate, and the structure and functioning of financial markets. You will learn about the pricing of financial assets, and how and why corporations choose and issue various types of assets. The banking units provide information on precisely how financial intermediaries operate, both on a domestic level and in the international arena. BSc Banking and Finance graduates can take advantage of 'fast track agreements' with certain professional bodies. Graduates of the BSc Banking and Finance degree who wish to continue their studies towards professional accreditation in the financial or accounting professions can take advantage of a ‘fast track’ agreement with five professional bodies:
Eligibility :
The applicant must have an overall average of 70% marks in Class XII Board exams with 70% or above marks in both English and Mathematics. If a student has 70% or above marks in 4 acceptable academic subjects (always including English and Mathematics) then also, he/she satisfies the entrance requirements. In case the student has less than 70% marks in English (but greater than 50% in class XII Board examinations) then the applicants need to take IELTS or TOEFL and submit those scores along with the application. The minimum acceptable score for IELTS is 6 and for TOEFL is 237 either of these exams should have been passed at the required grade or above, within the past 3 years.
