H.K. Kalchuri Education Trust, was registered under the trust Act and was established in 1998 with an aim of promoting technical education and career-prospects in a new development state like Chhattisgarh. With such a pious and missionary zeal it made a progressive venture into the realm of technical education.

Currently it runs eleven Medical and Engineering Colleges throughout M.P. and C.G. with an approximate intake of over ten thousand student. Value based education a boost to career prospects, wide exposure to latest technology and broad based vision to equip all the institutions in order to cater social needs in the intellectual arena are some of the noble causes that the trust stands for.

The J.K. Institute of Pharmacy is located at the heart of the Bilaspur city very near to the bus stand and approx 1.5 km from Railway Station. The Institute has separate administration and academic blocks with facility for parking vehicle, canteen, water filters water coolers and separate boys and girls' common rooms. The Infrastructure is divided into three separate wings viz., administration block and two separate block dedicated to academic activities which compromise of classrooms, laboratories, library, common-rooms toilet-facilities tutorial rooms canteen etc..
