About Government Naveen College, Gurur

Established in the year 2007 to cater to the needs of a purely rural scenario Government Naveen College Gurur has come a long way from what it was six years back. From a mere handful of students in the establishment year the college has grown enormously both in terms of student strength as well as in the field of the facilities made available to the students. Today the college boasts of a well equipped computer lab with internet connections, a fully furnished gymnasium, a sprawling garden with green trees spread over several acres, a well stocked library, and above all a pollution free campus atmosphere. The College is located 09 kms off the Raipur-Jagdalpur Highway.

All the streams are well managed and handled by the educated, experienced and dedicated professors. Nerely 18 kms from Dhamtari the rice bowl of Chhattisgarh in the newly founded district of Balod. It is easily accessible from both Raipur and Jagdalpur. The college provides quality education at the undergraduate level in the faculties of arts, science and commerce. Both boys and girls receive education in a congenial atmosphere. Extra-curricular activities like sports and cultural programs form part of their curriculum. Guidance as to the future prospects is also provided on campus. Special care is taken to ensure that the student comes out of the college a better human being.
