Awareness on the proper nutrition and balanced diets is ever-growing among people of the world over; consequently, the careers in dietetics and applied nutrition are now very progressive and bright. Broadly, dietetics is related with perfect food management for individuals, while nutrition is concerned with promotion of health. Dietitians and Nutritionists suggest appropriate food items and food habits to suit individuals based on their ages, work routines, and physical or mental troubles or diseases, thereby improving their quality of life. Properly qualified and well-experienced dietitians become assistants, associates, or eventually directors in the dietetic department of the following institutions, or and can also become self-employed. The most common employment avenues to dietitians and nutritionists are hospitals, outpatient clinics, public health agencies, health and fitness clubs, nursing homes, hotels and restaurants, sports and health clubs, educational institutions, and research institutes.Eligibility
12th(Science): Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2) in Science Subject.
