Located in Chandradhari Mithila Science College, Darbhanga is the premier college of L.N.Mithila University, Darbhanga and since the Time of establishment It's continuously producing excellence in the field of education which is helping the society through the way of education., Our Mission, To win and Sustain., To be innovative and Creative., To Stimulate their Creativity., To get them acquainted with ICT (Information and Communication Technology)., Our objective is to value truthfulness, honesty, selflessness, sacrifice, and transparency., Curricular Aspect, The Vision and Mission is communicated to the students, staff members and others through prospectus, Website and through Induction Ceremony with the arrival of new batch of students in the presence of teachers, staff and other stakeholders. As far as syllabus framing is concerned, it is not within the jurisdiction of the college, as we, being an affiliated unit of the L.N.M.U., are supposed to follow the syllabus prepared and approved by the Syllabus Committee. However to make the syllabus student-friendly and cover the syllabus we break the syllabus in modular form in order to complete it within the stipulated time and make regular assessment of the syllabus covered in the departmental meetings.Every Saturday a departmental meeting takes to asses the progress. Later on a meeting of the departmental heads held in the Principal's chamber on the last Saturday of each month. From the session 2002-2003, a vocational 3 years honors degree course in Industrial chemistry (Pharmaceutical Stream) has been introduced. To prepare our students to face the challenge of this millennium our curricular includes Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for equipping the students to compete in the global employment markets., To Admit the students in both the U.G and P.G course and in the vocational course, we follow the following norms to judge the merit and eligibility of the prospective student:, Marks obtained in the previous qualifying exams., Admission list performance, Personal Interview, We still use the time-tested chalk and talk method but for the last one decade we have been implementing quality scientific method such as using computer, audio-visual system, L.C.D, over-head projectors etc., Almost all the faculty in our college are Ph.D degree holders and engaged in active research. The college administration does not have the statutory authority to appoint the teachers. They are recruited by the University Services Commission, Government of Bihar. For evaluation there are two types of mechanisms. First as prescribed and organized by the University, centrally for all of its constituent units and secondly, ineternal methodology evolved for the college., C.M.Sc college,Darbhanga fraternity has made a name at home and abroad. We have been winning and we shall continue to win.We motivate our students not only for intensive study but more importantly, in basic areas such as courtesy, conduct and character.Our sole concern is to create a congenial atmosphere for curricar,co-curricular and extra-curricular activities so as to develop integrated personalities ready to brave the onslaught of the cut throat global economy that gives priority to talent above preferment. Our sincere hope is that all concerned with C.M.Sc College will rise to the occasion and further re-establish and enhance our our glorious past history. this institution is a temple of learning.
