Bachelor of Maritime Operations (BMO)

The Bachelor of Maritime Operation (BMO), is a one to two year undergraduate technical maritime course in India. The professional study program is designed by taking the initiative step to developing maritime operation programme with the support of Industrial experts representing government Maritime Law enforcement agency, Shipping, Seaport and Shipping & Ship Repair Industries. The Government of India took progressively liberalise step to developing maritime transport service, Maritime Cargo handling and Freight Transport Agency, Services and Converting into more dynamic and competitive sector in Country. The course is suitable for those candidates to want to accelerate their profession with higher studies and wants to upgrade their knowledge and technical skills, knowledge of modern maritime operation techniques and also acquiring the technical aspects of candidates. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of academic discipline Like : Fundament of Maritime Operation, Oceanography, Business Mathematics, Principal of Economics, International Law of Sea, Ship Technology, Technopreneurship, Management Accounting & Finance, Applied Statistics, Integrated Transport System, E-Commerce & Information System, Shipyard Management and Project Petting Marketing,Ship Operation Legislation, Marine Insurance, Marine Cargo Handling System, Occupational, Safety and Health. The Bachelor Degree program requires 1-2 years of time period in India. It’s a Full Time study program.

Eligibility

The candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Education or an Equivalent Examination, for Science stream and additional subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English, minimum 50% marks are eligible for pursuing this program.
