Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College was established in 1957 by Mahant Shri Shryonath ji. He was a well known Vaidya with Impeccable knowledge of Nadi Vigyan. The college was established for the welfare of the weaker section of society. This is a pioneer ayurvedic college in Haryana to start Ayurved education. The college is approved by CCIM and Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India New Delhi. This is one of institution of India that offers undergraduate course in BAMS with an intake of 60 students per year.

The college has earned reputation for having well equipped hospital with a central laboratory, pharmacy, herbal garden, Library and dedicated faculty. This college has 14 departments.

This department entertains teaching and training modules on preventive medicine, social medicine, yoga, Naturopathy, ayurvedic nutrition and dietetics. A real strength of Ayurveda is preventive measures and maintaining good health this is incorporated in the Swasthavritta subject. Thus this subject is very significant in the faculty of Ayurveda. he contents of subject are very helpful to create students, who are able to bring about welfare of the society with the help of science of Ayurveda along with Yogshastra and Naturopathy
