Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College was established in 1957 by Mahant Shri Shryonath ji. He was a well known Vaidya with Impeccable knowledge of Nadi Vigyan. The college was established for the welfare of the weaker section of society. This is a pioneer ayurvedic college in Haryana to start Ayurved education. The college is approved by CCIM and Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India New Delhi. This is one of institution of India that offers undergraduate course in BAMS with an intake of 60 students per year.
The college has earned reputation for having well equipped hospital with a central laboratory, pharmacy, herbal garden, Library and dedicated faculty. This college has 14 departments.
The department deals with Toxicology, forensic medicine and medical jurisprudence. The department boasts of a fully fledged state of the art museum displaying specimen, charts and models showcasing relevant faces of medical jurisprudence, forensic medicine and toxicology. Department of Agadtantra & Vyavahar Auyrved (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) provides educational inputs to the II year undergraduate B.A.M.S. students in the subject of.
