The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been established in the year 2007. The Department aims at producing technically competent professionals, who can excel in today’s age of technology recognizing its role in engineering education, generation and dissemination of state-of–the-art facilities and relevant technologies. Well experienced and dedicated members of faculty pursuing their research, in recent trends of computer science and engineering, is the strength of the department. The department consists of around 600 students. The research arena comprises Mobile Computing, Ad Hoc Networks, Cognitive Networks, Information Security, Network Security, Data Mining, Data Warehousing, Grid Computing, and Service Oriented Architecture. To strengthen the technical ability of our students, the department as a whole encourages the students towards conducting and participating in Guest Lectures, Seminars, Conferences, Technical Symposiums, Workshops and Industrial Visits.
