It is joined with NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. They provide a degree course in Ayurvedic extending over a period of 5 1/2 years. The Degree is awarded after successful completion of the course. Candidates seeking admission to the 1st year BAMS course must have passed the PUC Examination conducted by the Osmania University/ Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad or an equivalent examination of any other recognized university or institution with Physical & Biological sciences.
