He possesses Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur along with a bachelor degree in Law from Utkal University. He has Teaching Experience of more than 17 years in various Engineering colleges of Orissa, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. In addition to teaching he is also deeply involved in various development programs particularly for land and water management as consultant or advisor to various agencies and involved in Planning, Design, Estimation and Execution of Water Harvesting Structures, Watershed management programme, Housing and Sanitation, and also worked as Facilitator-cum-Project Evaluator of Council for Advancement of Peoples Action and Rural Technology (CAPART), Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India for a period of three years and completed Pre funding, Midterm and Final evaluation of more than 50 projects related to Water harvesting structures, Lift irrigation, Water Supply, Sanitation, Housing, Self Help Groups for Income Generation, Agriculture and Disaster management etc. during 2003-2005.He also worked as consultant to prepare the Environment Management Framework (EMF) for Dam Safety aspect of Minor Irrigation Dams for Orissa Community Management Project (OCTMP) of World Bank., His achievements include, Receiving of Gold Medal from IE (I), National Doctoral Fellowship from All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi for pursuing PhD at IIT Kharagpur and Participated in Doordarshan Indian TV program on topic low Cost and Participatory Water and Soil Management and Fire Retardant Thatch Roof. He also presented papers in different National and International Conferences. Member of The Institution of Engineers (India), International Association of Hydrological Sciences, Indian Society of Technical Education, Orissa Engineering Congress, Indian Society of Rock Mechanics and Tunnel Technology, Indian Society of Hydraulics, Indian Water Resources Society, Indian Association of Hydrologist., Laboratories, The five departments of engineering in the college are equipped with laboratories that compare well with similar facilities in the premier institutions anywhere. There two laboratories for department of CSE with a total capacity of 250 seating capacity at a time . the total lab s are visioned by a set of well experienced faculty who can solve any type of queries at short time .The E.C.E,E.E.E & MECH department labs are also well equipped with necessary equipment with modern technology supported, Language Lab, Prajna ITM takes a very high responsibility of improving the communication and vocabulary skills of the students and due this reason the English communication skills lab was established with well experienced faculty who well knows how to increase the communication skills of the students in their own way. Set up as a part of centre for English Language Learning (CELL) is yet another remarkable feature that is devoted to honoring the communication skills of students and also prepare them for competitive tests like GRE and TOFEL., Seminars, The Prajna ITM gives intensive coaching regarding the training of students in terms of seminars there is a seminar hall with projector facility and every week seminar hours are conducted for students so that will be habituated to it so that they can improve their communication and technical skills day by day., Canteen, The college has a very pleasant canteen which serves delicious food for the students in their unique manner they keep the canteen very hygienic and well sophisticated and safe drinking water facility .
