About

Unani Medicine is a traditional form of medicine practiced in countries of the Middle East and South Asia. According to Unani philosophy a person is healthy when all the four humours in the body are in equilibrium. They are Dam (Blood), Balgham (Phlegm), Safra (Yellow bile), Sauda (Black bile). Unani medicine has proved useful in curing the diseases like Arthritis, Leucoderma, Jaundice, Liver disorders, Nervous system disorders, Bronchial Asthma, and several other acute and chronic diseases

Unani treatment is a natural way of healing and is affordable. It is mainly dependent on the physique of the patient, hereditary condition and affects, different complaints, signs and symptoms of the body, external body observation, examination of the PULSE, urine and stool.

There are eight specialized branches of Unani medicine - Internal medicine ( Moalijat ), Gynecology including Obstetrics and Pediatrics, Diseases of the head and neck, Toxicology, Psychiatry, Rejuvenation Therapy including Geriatrics, Sexology, Regimental Therapy, Dietotherapy & Hydrotherapy.
