Kamptee Polytechnic is an autonomous institute of Govt. of Maharashtra. Autonomy status was conferred to the institute in the year 1995. At present only academic autonomy has been granted to this institution. It is the oldest and biggest technical institution of Central India located in the heart of Nagpur city imparting technical education since its establishment in 1914. The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities, qualified and experienced faculty and conducive academic climate.
