Course Details:

Master in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology - The two-year MASLP course is spread over four semesters. In each semester there will be five papers. Dissertation has to be done by each candidate in the final semester. MASLP graduates in addition to performing their clinical rehabilitative roles will be able to function as Master trainers and researchers. Master trainers are eligible to take up the role of lecturers in colleges offering Speech, Language pathology and Audiology courses and in medical colleges. They are also eligible to apply for and conduct research projects pertaining to core and allied subjects of speech, language and hearing.

Master in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP), is a two years Postgraduate Audiology course in India. The master’s study is designed to develop good verbal and written communication skill which are needed to interact with the client as other health care professionals because candidates have to deal with the patient suffering the effects of hearing loss.

The study is suitable for those candidates wants to accelerate their profession in Audiology and also have interested in working in hearing speech and language therapy. The aim, of course, is to identify the abnormalities related with human speech, language and hearing. The master’s study explore the topics of anatomy and physiology of hearing along with methods to improve their transcriptions and linguistic skills.The MASLP course develops and upgrades candidates for performing their clinical rehabilitative roles will be able to function as Master trainers and researchers. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology in the academic discipline of, Advance in Speech Science, Psychophysics of Audition, Perspectives in Fluency and Voice Disorders, Auditory Physiology, Advance Statics and Research Method, Clinical Work (Speech Pathology / Audiology).

Eligibility

The candidates should have to complete Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP),Education or an Equivalent Examination, with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks those candidates are eligible for pursuing in master’s study program.

Course Duration & Learning Mode

This Master’s Diploma Course requires 2 years of the time period in India.It’s a full-time diploma course, but some institutes also provide part-time learning option on certain criteria.
