Department of Biochemistry

The Department of Biochemistry was started in the year 1993 under the affiliation of University of Madras. The department has well equipped laboratories, advanced research facilities, sophisticated services and computing and networking capabilities, is recognized to have done exceedingly well in the fields of higher education, research and industrial consultancy. Strong expertise exists among the faculty on both theoretical and experimental methods of research.

Our students are given hands on training and expertise in the following, Biochemistry Lab, Bioinstrumentation Lab, Clinical Biochemistry Lab, Molecular biology Lab, Hematology Lab, Phytochemistry Lab, Pre- clinical Lab & Microbiology and Immunology Lab.
