Shakambhari Institute of Higher Education & Technology, Puhana. Roorkee is one of the premier Technical Institution in the region. The Institute is situated at a distance of 08 Km. from Roorkee City at Puhan on Iqbalpur road.

Established in the year 2006, the Shakambhari Institute of Higher Education & Technology, Puhana. Roorkee is to impart instructional training in Nine disciplines of Three Years Diploma Course in session 2012-13

To produce diploma pharmacy & diploma engineers as per the requirement of today's most sophisticated and result oriented National and Multi-National industrial and business houses is the main aim of this institute. The institute is determined to nurture their students to compete with the best in the country.

To achieve the above mentioned goal the institute has appointed young, dynamic, intelligent, experienced & dedicated teachers. All the laboratories and workshops are well equipped with the machineries/equipments of latest technology. There is a fully air-conditioned Computer Lab which is equipped with 100 nos of computers of latest configuration. The institute has internet facility with Wi-Fi campus , so that students can use this facility anywhere in the whole campus. An excellent and modern digital Language Lab has been provided in the institute to help the students to improve their communication , which is another great weapon to express their technical skill effectively. A well stocked Library with large number of good Books and Journals covering all the engineering branches, Applied Sciences, Management and current topics, is available in the institute.

There are lush green parks in the institute, surrounded by green fields and trees. Campus of the institute is totally pollution free which encourages the students to take keen interest in their studies. Bus facility is also available from all the major cities nearby Roorkee.
