Shri Shravannath Math Jwaharlal Nehru College, popularly known as SMJN COLLEGE, was founded in 1960 by late Shri 108 Mahant Mahadevanathji of Shri Shravannath Math, and passed on to its parent body Panchayati Akhara Shri Niranjani to be managed through its Shiksha Arogya Samiti. The college was initially affiliated to the Agra University, Agra. In 1967, the affiliation was transferred to the Meerut University, Meerut presently, CCS University, Meerut. With the formation of Uttaranchal Presently Uttarakhand State, the college was finally affiliated in November 2001 to the HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar-Garhwal.

SMJN PG College is situated in Haridwar in Uttarakhand state of India. Established in 1960, and it is affiliated to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. SMJNPGC, Haridwar offers 10 courses across 4 streams namely Arts, Commerce and Banking, Science, Media and Mass Communication and across 6 degrees like BA, BSc, B.Com, MA, PGD.Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Academic Zone, Canteen, Computer Lab, Library, Cls. Room, Cafeteria , Laboratories are also there.
