Sri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology & Science (formerly Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Management) was established in 1994 at Dehradun by Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission with the financial support of its parent body-Darbar Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj, which is over 350 years old religious and philanthropic organization.

The mission has a track record of commendable service of over six decades in providing good modern education at reasonably low cost, affordable by middle class social segment. As on date, it runs 108 educational institutions in North India-Postgraduate and Intermediate Colleges and English Medium Public Schools (CBSE). In postgraduate and three intermediate colleges, free education is provided to all the students and the fee in public schools is low enough. Over 40,000 students are studying in these institutions.Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science in Dehradun was set up in the year 1994 with an aim to offer modern technical education at low cost to students from the middle class society.

The institute was established by Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission and is funded by Durbar Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj.

In the Postgraduate and Inter-mediate Colleges free education is provided to the students and the fee in Public Schools is reasonably low.

Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science is located at Patel Nagar in Dehradun. The college is spread over a magnanimous 12.5 acres of land with well furnished infrastructure. The institute is recognized by HNB Garhwal University as Center for Research in Management leading to Ph.D.
