Tilak Dhari College, Jaunpur was established in 1947 by Thakur Tilak Dhari Singh with 25 students and at present spread over an area of more than 60 acres with more than 12000 students enrolled in its six faculties including Arts ,Science, Agriculture, Law ,Commerce etc.The faculty of Law has recently been designated as Law College by the Bar Council of India and now located in a separate campus about a kilometre away from the Main Campus of the college .
