The institution is an accredited centre of DOEACC Society An Autonomous Body of Deptt of IT and Communication, Govt of India, New Delhi, Hamdard University, New Delhi Body is Granted the status of ‘Deemed to be University’ in 1989 under the section 3 of UGC Act 1956, Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok University is incorporated under the state legislative Act Act IX of 1956 of the Govt of Sikkim and NCPUL, New Delhi An Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India

Mahboob Meena Shah, the great saint, visionary and social activist is at the core of Meena Shah Institute of Technology & Management set up in 1998 and has been running on self- financing basis since inception i.e. 1998 popularly known as MSITM. The group has emerged as a torchbearer of IT & Management education in Gonda & Devipatan region of U.P.

MSITM is affiliated to Dr RAM MANOHAR LOHIA AVADH UNIVERSITY, FAIZABAD which offers BBA & BCA. Similarly, MSITM is also an authorized learning center of INTEGRAL UNIVERSITY, which offers master program like MBA and MCA. MSITM is also an authorized center of NIELIT & NCPUL An Autonomous Body of Dept. Of IT and Communication

MSITM, Gonda now stands out and stands taller than rest in the region, as a unique group. It's beyond the syllabus course curriculum approach, innovative teaching, training and concept building methodology, holistic integrated action plan for overall development of student and faculty provide inspiring force for excellent growth of student and faculty.
