About NIMT

The National Institute of Management & Technology was established in the year 1992.

NIMT Institutions are non-profit global institutions. The Institution was established in the year 1992. The Institutions are accredited and approved by state government universities and regulatory councils including Bar Council of India, All India Council for Technical Education,Indian Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council of India, National Council of Teacher Education, University Grants Commission (UGC) amongst others. Details about affiliations and approvals is available here. NIMT was established as a philanthropic initiative under the United Educational Society.

NIMT is one of the few institutions in Asia that maintains a 1:13 faculty-student ratio and appoints faculty members from India and different parts of the world with outstanding academic qualifications and experience. NIMT is a research intensive institute, which is deeply committed to its core institutional values of interdisciplinarity and innovative pedagogy; pluralism and rigorous scholarship; and globalism and international engagement.

The Institution has an eminent advisory council with members including Prof Dr R Venkata Rao, Vice Chancellor, National Law School of India University, Bangalore , Prof Dr Sukhpal Singh Vice Chancellor, Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, Mr Ved Jain -Director, DLF Past President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India amongst others.
