Institute of Professional studies (IPS) has been established in the year 1998 by a group of professionals , business magnets, industrialists and educationists under the age is of BK Usha Educational Society. The institute is situated in the industrial city Ghaziabad with the objective to educate and train students in a holistic manner, in the fields of Media, Computers and Management industries. The courses are recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Institute is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh (CCS) University, Meerut.

This is a degree programmed with entirely a different approach. Besides enabling you to enter the world of Management, it would enable you to a head start in your career vis-à-vis other who are into doing simple graduation. The present day scenario in the country and outside in business circles needs trained managers mounded to respond proactively to the changing environment of the corporate world

Bachelors of Computer Application (BCA)

With rapid globalization the human dependency on computers is ever increasing. The very simple reason that computer's are perfect examples of controlled slaves. To make these computer's run for various practical reasons there has to a interpreter for interpreting human language to machine language, for that there are different software's for different platforms. The ever increase in the demand for computers has led to number of software's. Thus the production for software's is demanding a large volume of trained person. That is why the careers in the field of software development is growing Multifold. After BCA one could easily opt for the most demanding degree i.e. MCA. These two combinations are the hottest degrees in the world

Today is the world of communication, the field itself so vast and exploring that the opportunities are never ending. Media basically is a medium through which communication travels between the source and the receiver. The media widely encompasses the following fields: The Print media, The Electronic Media, Advertising & Public Relation.

Print Media

Creative persons, who have a command over language, can earn a place in the print media. We all have witnessed the might of this media, which can bring down any organization overnight and can even, shake up the bureaucracy. Every body is familiar with the popular saying that "A pen is mightier than the sword", Print media can be used for social awakening, for developing peace and harmony. You can join the Print media as a journalist: responsible for reporting or as an Assistant Editor, Chief Editor etc. The field is highly rewarding and challenging. A master’s degree in journalism, which can sharpen your skills, could make you enter the dynamic Print media. You can get openings in the Newspaper, Magazines and various publishing houses.

Electronic Media

If you have an imaginative mind, that can visualize events and synchronize them in order, then you have an aptitude for electronic media. A field so vast and dynamic that it has taken the world by storm. Films and Television are two broad streams of this media. You can enter this media in technical cadre, which is more paying than acting. You can enter the electronic media as a visualizer, copy writer, script writer, Video or Film Editor, Special effects generator, Animator, Voice –over, Director. Various television channels now a days recruit a large number of technical persons. Due to boom in FM channel, lot of manpower and artist are needed to fill the gap in production.

Advertising and Public Relations

Advertising basically to inform, to persuade the target audiences. One can enter the field of advertising as a creative executive or Director, Media Planner or Accounts Executive. The industry requires highly trained professionals. One requires a degree to enter this glamorous world. If you are a good communicator, having pleasing personality and you like interacting people, then public relations is most suited job for you. It also requires a degree and an aptitude to work for relations. The post graduation degree course i.e. Master in Journalism & Mass Communication (MJMC) is the only of its kind in and around Delhi, which is comprehensive in nature. It covers all the essential aspects of media, i.e. The Print media, Advertising, Public relations, Electronic Media. In other word it could be said as A-Z of media specialization.
