I am happy to know that Shri Gandhi Post Graduate College is hosting its own WEBSITE. Apart from this being mandatory requirement of Purvanchal University, I believe that this hosting of its website will open new horizons in the functioning of the college. With the increasing globalization and with the advent of Information Technology , it has created new vistas of knowledge and opened new horizons to explore. To exploit its full potential, sky is the limit. Therefore it is important that this WEB SITE is utilized to its maximum potential.

I believe this website will be utilized not only to fulfill mandatory requirement of the Purvanchal Univesity but also as Data Bank and as reference to the outside world .I hope this website will encourage our college students to come forward and contribute in making further improvement in its quality and content. Also, I hope that web site will also have page for Alumini Section who have contributed to the glorious past and had brought laurel to the college.

It is hoped to open up more opportunities to the students to expand and diverse their interest and find avenues for the exhibition of their talents. Our main mission is to chanalize their energy, to provide greater opportunities, to build desired life-skills and empower them to take informed independent decisions.

We try to enable our students to develop their efficiency to distinguish brightness and darkness, right and wrong and to select right circle of friendship. Ideally, education is supposed to encourage the students to analyse and evaluate their experiences, to debate, to question, to investigate. In other words to be inquisitive and to think dependently.

The institution envisages to planer a movement seeking to reintegrate Indian culture,by the application of the modern critical apparatus to its anxiety to keep the heritage that is useful with the courage to replace it with more effective expression of the Indian spirit in consonance with its present circumstance.Finding ourselves in a era of liberalization optimism ans a virtual revolution,nobody can cast a blind eye towards proper education.It is time to realizing those visions,that the social reformers and the nationalist leadership longed for ,implemented in reality in the dawn of the twentieth century.That was an era of idealism, this one is of implementation.Our earnest hope is that realizing and absorbing the brighter rays that education provides.the scholars will be enlightened and the meaning of education itself be expressed by it vivid revelation through the students.
