UPPGMET Result & Evaluation methods

UPPGMET 2016 exams will be conducted on 16th & 23rd January 2016. UPPGMET is conducted for Admission to M.D. / M.S./ Post Graduate Diploma Course for the Session 2016-17 in the member colleges of UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA).

The results are expected to be announced in the second week of February 2016. Candidates who have appeared for UPPGMET 2016, and are waiting for UPPGMET 2016 results, will be able to check the results on the official website of UPPGMET 2016 ie.

Evaluation of Result UPPGMET 2016

=> There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.
=> The percentage will be calculated up to two decimals precision.

In the case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the competitive entrance examination, their inter se merit will be determined according to age, older will get preference over younger.

Minimum cut-off pass percentage

Minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in UPPGMET-2016 shall be 50%.

Important Note: The answers to questions given by Panel of Paper Setters of respective papers and the result based on those answers shall be final and unchallengeable. This means students will not able to challenge the answers provided by the panel.

Merit List

The merit will be prepared by the UPUMCWA authorities on the basis of the marks obtained in UPPGMET 2016 exam conducted by UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA). Students will have to get marks above the cut-off pass percentage i.e 50%

The list of successful candidates will be uploaded on the official website of UPUMCWA - Students are advised to check the official website for results and any other information.
