Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry is a five year under graduate course offered as per the recommendations of Veterinary Council of India. This course consists of ten semesters. Out of which nine semesters comprise of course work consisting all the subjects pertaining to the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry. Final semester is allocated for Internship programme where in the students will spend full time in Veterinary Hospitals and Livestock Farms. Out of the total seats 85% are earmarked for local candidates of the state, while, 15% are earmarked for non-local candidates. Rules of reservation in vogue in the state of Telangana will be scrupulously followed. Selection is based on Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test ( EAMCET ) ranking in Biology stream conducted by Telangana state duly following rules of reservation in vogue. There is no other mode of selection into this undergraduate degree course in this university. However, VCI quota of seats will be filled by the VCI nominees based on the entrance conducted by VCI at all India level. The details of course and academic rules can be viewed in the link provided.
