A Government degree college in Eturnagagaram had been a long cherished dream of the Adivasi tribal people of the Eturnagaram, District. Warangal. This College was started by the Government of Andhrapradesh during the academic year 2007-2008 under the Tribal Sub plan for the uplifment the tribal people in Eturnagaram Area.Initially Government has sanctioned 1 Principal post, 15 Teachig Post and 1 senior assistant. Remaining non-teaching posts are permitted through out sourcing. During the establishment of the college the Kakatiya University has given a permission to start a 5 courses i.e B.A.(EHP)., B.Com( general)., B.Com ( comp)., B.Sc (MPC) and B.Sc(BZC) . Thus the dream came true when Government Degree College, Eturnagaram started functioning with three UG courses with 180 students in all batch, in a College Hostel building attached to College in 29-10-2007.
