Bhaskar Pharmacy College is just 15 km from Mehdipatnam and is far from hustle, bustle of the city life and yet close enough for easy approach.

The college is recognised by AICTE & PCI,New Delhi and affiliated to the JNTUH. It offers 4 years B.Pharm course, 6 years Pharm. D course and 2 years M.Pharm course in Pharmaceutics & Pharmacology.

In spite of a galaxy of pharmacy colleges already existent in A.P., the emergence of Bhaskar Pharmacy College in the academic year 2007-2008 accentuates its uniqueness in guiding the students in the areas of wisdom and excellence in pharmacy education. J.B. Educational Society has established Bhaskar Pharmacy College in the knowledge rich area of Yenkapally campus. The college is headed by Dr. A.Srinivasa Rao, M.Pharm., Ph.D with 16 years of experience in various Pharmacy/ Medical colleges in India and Nepal and a few years with UNDP project in Africa for the development of Medical and Health education.

At present the college offers a four year B.Pharm. course with an annual intake of 120 students for the courses in basic sciences like Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy Physiology and Health Education, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and the specialization courses in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmaceutical analysis, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics, and Pharmacy Administration along with Humanities. Very soon, we plan to introduce the Pharm. D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) 6 years programme and our application for pharmacy council of India inspection is under process.

The college now avows to be fully established with dedicated and competent staff with an enthusiastic spark to kindle the flame of talent in Pharmaceutical sciences.
