      The Department of Management Studies-NIT Trichy (DoMS-NIT Trichy) was born out of a vision of the great institution called National Institute of Technology Trichy (erstwhile Regional Engineering College, Trichy) enlightening and shaping careers for more than three decades. DoMS-NIT Trichy is the only institution which is funded by the Ministry of HRD among the NITs.

      NITT houses one of the best libraries in the field of Engineering and Management Sciences. The vast reservoir of knowledge is a source of constant value addition to the Students and the faculty. The main library of the institute, which is digitalized, extends over an area of 2500 sq ft. with a collection of around a hundred thousand books.In addition to the main library, the department has a library with an exhaustive collection of books and journals of management and business dailies.for more information click here
      DoMS Library
      The DOMS library has statistical publications, annual reports of top companies, financial monthlies, case studies, press clippings, research papers, reports, educational videos and CD ROMs. The audio visual lab facilities are available round the clock. The department uses the infrastructure for organizing seminars, management meets, conferences and training Programmes.
      The department has state-of-art multimedia and audio visual teaching which aids in enhancing the quality of presentations.
      Department of Management Studies has a library which consists of academic books, general management books, journals, newspapers and business magazines. It gives students an opportunity to spend their time in a valuable way. The library is on weekdays open from 9 am to 5 pm. The magazines include Harvard Business Review, The Economist, The Smart manager, Outlook, Forbes India etc.
      Sports facilities are available in the campus. Annual Sports event is held in the month of December in every year
      Good transportation facilities for its students, staff members and visiting guests.
      A Critical prerequisite to an extensive learning experience is the existence of good residential facilities. To this end, the campus offers hostels both for men and women.
