The USP Polytechnic was started in the year 2009 under "USP TRUST", which has been founded by Thiru U.SELVARAJ..,The College is Located in the village of kodikurichi, which is on the Tenkasi – Surandai road 8 Kms from Tenkasi and 15 kms from surandai. The nearest Railway Station is Tenkasi Junction and also well-connected by long distance buses to various places.The U.S.P. Academy is owned and managed by the U.S.P. Trust. The Academy was established by Thiru U. Selvaraj S/o M. Upagaram Pillai on 29.04.2004 and he is the chairman and secretary of this academy. Thirumathi S. Sahaya Selva Mary is the treasurer of this academy. This academy having three institutions such as U.S.P.College of Education, U.S.P.Polytechnic College, U.S.P.Matric.Hr.Sec.School.
