Kamban College of Arts and Science for Women, Tiruvannmalai was established in 1996 by Saraswathi Ammal Educational Trust. The college is supervised and led by Thiru E.V. Velu, a visionary and also the Chairman. The College was established with the noble thought of empowering females of the underprivileged community in the light of higher education and knowledge of international standards.
