The Kamalakshi Pandurangan College of Pharmacy was started in the year 1993 with the blessings of His Holiness Lord Annamalaiar of Tiruvannamalai, to cater the needs of pharmacy education in the country. To begin with, D.Pharm. was started and it was followed by the B.Pharm.degree course in the 1995. The college which is now under the management of " Sri Arunai Educational Trust " is run in a spacious well equipped own building. The faculty of pharmacy, has completed over one decade of its existence. Now in our 11th year, the college looks towards its future with excitement and enthusiasm. During its last decade, the college has attracted outstanding students and faculty, and developed a challenging curriculum. The college is presently the one of the largest undergraduate and diploma institute in the country imparting quality pharmaceutical education. We expect our future to remain grounded in existing quality, but to expose new programs and new approaches to the opportunities presented.
The institution is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, approved by All India council of Technical Education, New Delhi, recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.Over a short period of time, this college has emerged as an outstanding centre of higher learning with state-of-the-art facilities. It offers distinct and highly focused programme related to health environment, pharmacy etc.
