The Insitute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli and functioning from the academic year 2000-2001 is a self-financing college run by K.Nadimuthu Memorial Educational Trust and sanctioned by the Government of Tamilnadu.
