      Sri Raaja Raajan College of Education for Women, run by Sri Muthumari Charitable and Educational Trust, was established in a rural place at Karaikudi, Sivaganga District in 2007. Sivagangai is one of the backward districts of Tamilnadu. The College got recognition from NCTE for B.Ed., (F.SRO / NCTE /B.Ed 2008 /5698 dated - 01.10.2008) and affiliation from Tamilnadu Teachers Education University. (University Reference No.TNTEU/R/Affln./2008/372. Dated 10.10.2008).
