The Vinayaka Mission’s college of Physiotherapy is a constituent college of Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Salem which plays a vital role in the field of Physiotherapy., This college was established by the Founder and Chairman, His Excellency Dr. A. SHANMUGASUNDARAM in the year 1993 for offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy course after approval and affiliation from Govt. of Tamilnadu and The T.N Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The University grants commission, New Delhi after inspecting the infrastructural facilities of the college, granted permission to run the college under the ambit of Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) in August 2004., So far several hundred students had passed out from this college successfully and they are practicing Physiotherapy in India and abroad. Our college was upgraded with post graduate courses in the year 2004 and had become a research institute for the practice of physiotherapy., Our college is attached to a 500 bedded multi specialty medical college hospital and a 500 bedded super speciality hospital with variety of patient population exposing our students to various clinical situations and helps them overcome the challenge., We have a team of dedicated, hard working, and caring faculty who work round the clock towards the student development and professional upliftment., Vision, To achieve excellence in the field of Physiotherapeutic education and service and thereby contribute to development of National Health care delivery., Mission, To impart knowledge, skill and develop attitude through innovative and creative approaches in a comprehensive way to meet global standards, To follow a holistic approach for the overall development of the personnel., To deliver value based education and thereby make them understand ethical values and morals in life
