      About Thiyagi Dharmakkan Amirtham College of Education, Ramanathapuram

      Our B.Ed College was established in Kannirajapuram in memory of our founding Parents Thiyagi D.Dharmakkanan and Tmty. D.Amirtham who hailed and worked for the illiterates of Kannirajapuram. Thiyagi D.Dharmakkanan, an eminent educationalist, veteran freedom fighter, and a dynamic leader dedicated himself for the welfare of the people and dreamt of 100% literacy among the rural youth, especially adolescent girls in Kannirajapuram. His wife Tmty.D.Amirtham provided solid support in all his endeavors.
