Udhagamandalam "The Queen of Hill Stations" is an evergreen tourist center. the longfelt need for one womens college to meet the educational need of this town has been fulfilled by the Emerald Heights College for Women since 1969. It is situated in the tri-junction of Karnataka, Kerala and TamilNadu in a downtrodden women and the tribal communities by providing quality education.
The college was accredited by the NAAC and is now in the process of Re-accreditation. Presently the college is managed by the Nilgiri Education Society under the leadership of our respectful secretary Shri.S.Motilal Kataria, a dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic person having higher ambition to bring the college to greater heights. the college has seen great changes, new innovative courses and new buildings by his ceaseless efforts..
