      PGP College of Nursing and Research (PGPCNR), Namakkal established in 2007 is managed by PGP Educational and Welfare Society. The College is affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai and approved by the Indian Nursing Council & Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

      The College of Nursing aims to provide the highest quality national and international nursing education, nursing research, and nursing innovation. Our staff and resources provide education for careers in nursing from the pre-registration programme through this degree. We also provide programmes of education for qualified staff, and have established reputation for our expertise in developing Advanced, Specialist and Clinical Nurses.

      The Students are trained extensively in Government Hospital - Namakkal (the first NABH accredited Hospital in Tamil Nadu), Primary Health Centres, Thangam Hospital - Namakkal, Arokia Hospital - Salem, Masonic Hospital - Coimbatore, Institute of Mental Health - Kilpauk, Chennai.
      Our students are placed in multispecialty hospitals in India and Abroad.
