Kandhaswamy College of Education is promoted by Trust for Educational and Social Development of Women and Youth. Prof. Dr. A.K. Natesan is the Hon.Chairman, his wife Mrs.N.Parvathy, the Managing Trustee and the son, Dr.N.Mathan Karthick, the Vice-Chairman. The Trust is started in the year 2001 with an aim to provide education to all The Trust started its niche in the teaching field in the year 2006 with Kandhaswamy College of Education (B.Ed.) and two Teachers Training Institutions (D.T.Ed.) viz. Excel Teachers Training Institute and Excel Teachers Training Institute for women.
Prof.Dr.A.K.Natesan, Hon. Chairman of Trust for Educational and Social Development of Women and Youth is a Philanthropist who has dedicated over 25 years of his valuable service to the field of education as a lecturer, professor, a consultant and advisor to several educational trusts. He endeavours to put in his innovative and futuristic out look through these institutions for the betterment of the human values through teacher education. Dr.N.Mathan Karthick, his son renders his young and strong shoulders to meet out the challenges. Education is universally recognized as important investment in building human capital which is the drive for technical innovation and economic growth. India has to see education not just as a component of social development but as a mean of uplifting humanitarian goals with great determination and courage. Kandhaswamy College of Education is started to envisage these aims in the year 2006.
