The Sun Institute Of Technology has been established by A.C.P Educational Trust to cater the needs of then rural youth by providing them vocational and technical education. The objective of founders of this institution is to impart technical education, training and skills necessary to make qualified for better prospects and placement.
This institute was founded on 26.11.1997 at Sun Nagar, Erachakulam covering an area of 67.5 acres with the recognition of Govt.Tamil Nadu and approval of AICTE. The institution runs with the motto “Service-Upliftment-Nourishment” tomake the acronym of SUN.Fully qualified, competent and dedicated members are the staff of institution. The institution has well designed R.C.C buildings, well equipped Physics, Chemistry, English Communication, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Laboratories and Mechanical Workshop.
