S. A Raja Pharmacy College was established in 1987. The Bacelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Degree course is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu in G.O.M.s.No.1961. Health and family welfare (ME-II) department and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University vide proceedings No. /- 256112/affin. 1(2)/93 and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. The institute has seven of lecture halls, which helps in imparting teaching to the students. These lecture halls, spread over a carpet area of 4500 sq.mtrs, provide an interactive amience for students to learn, interact and participate in the activities of a classroom. Tese rooms are well ventilated, well lighed and are spacious to accommodate large number of students.

S. A. Raja Pharmacy College is one of the very few foremost colleges of the Rajas Group of Colleges, Vadakangulam, which had been established 25 years back in 1988 by Sardhar Dr. S. A. Raja, the Founder of Rajas Group of Colleges. And it is the only traditional Pharmacy College available for the three districts of Kanniyakumari, Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu.

Our college is located in Raja Nagar, Vadakangulam. It's just 8 km from Kavalkinaru junction. The college is situated amidst wind mills which extend a few kilometres around Aralvaimozhi, the village having the largest wind farm in Asia. The view from the college is a serene one which has no obstruction to the mountains and wind mills, which makes it a wonderful location for the students to settle down with peaceful minds to have an exotic time period throughout their course.
