About Vellalar College of Education For Women, Erode

Situated in sylvan Surroundings, Vellalar College of Education for Women, was started in the year 2005, exclusively to train women students as teachers. The institution has obtained approval from the NCTE and permanent affiliation from the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University .
The vision of the Vellalar Educational Trust in establishing this college of education is, to train the students to be the best teachers with a social consciousness, so that society at large can benefit ultimately
As there is a great need for good teachers, emphasis is laid on providing quality education and training to trainees who in turn can give their best to the society. Besides curricular and co-curricular activities, value-oriented learning experiences are stressed to enrich the student trainees' personality.
