EIT Polytechnic College is located 3 kms away from Kavindapadi. Kavaindapadi is located on the Erode – Gobichetipalayam Road 24 Kms from the historic Town of Erode. The college bus service connects at most all parts of Erode for the benefit of students and faculty.
Erode is well known for marketing of textile products of Handloom, Powerloom and Readymade Garments. The Handloom and Powerloom products such as Cotton Sarees, Bed Spreads, Carpets, Lungies, Printed Fabrics, Towels, Dhotis are marketed here in bulk.
EIT Polytechnic College is approved by the AICTE and governed by Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Tamilnadu. The institute marched towards the pinnacle of glory through its remarkable achievements and laurels in the field of engineering diploma education of a high caliber and had recently celebrated its Silver Jubilee.
The EIT Campus of today bears little or no resemblance to the barren hilltop that existed three decades ago. From a wasteland covered with scrub and brush, it has been transformed into a great land of service and education. EIT is alive with the electric reverberations of minds at work.
The EIT Campus boasts of lush green lawns that provide an ambience and a serene atmosphere of ancient Gurukulams far from the madding crowd. It has got 52 acres of land, out of which 2 acres as academic building area and 10 acres for playground, and hostels.
