It is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu vide G.O.Ms. No.394 dated 3.8.98 and all courses are affiliated to the University of Madras. LOCATION The College functions at Works Road, New Colony, Chromepet, Chennai - 600 044. It is well removed from the madding crowd and is situated in a congenial setting for undisturbed academic pursuit. Tagore Educational Trust was founded and registered in 1997 as a non-profit and charitable organization constituted by a group of Philanthropists, Educationists and Industrialists with rich and varied experience in different fields. The Trust is headed by dynamic and vibrant Chairperson, Prof. Ms.Mala, M.A., M.Phil., The Trust has the main objective of promoting education by establishing a number of institutions in different specialities such as Engineering & Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry as well as Arts & Science, Commerce and Physical Education. The ultimate aim of the Trust is to develop these institutions of higher learning as centers of research and development, so that they could constitute a University in due course. The Trust is being guided by the advice of many educationists, notably Dr.S.Jagathrakshakan, who himself is an educational administrators of long experience as well as seasoned parliamentarian., Vision, We at this Institution, envision the holistic development of our students into vibrant professionals, conscious of human values and eco-friendly environment and competent in skills. They will be the torch-bearers in their respective fields of study, quite capable of serving the community in a befitting manner., Mission, To groom our students as self-reliant, creative, value-conscious, dedicated citizens, committed to the service of the nation., To develop the Institution into a seat of leaning that would blend knowledge of modern science and Technology with our time - honored cultural and spiritual vision.
