The MADRAS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING SOCIETY has been registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975 with the avowed intention to take the first step towards establishment of full fledged college of engineering with a wide range of technical education facilities in various fields in the foreseeable future. In pursuance of this objective SAINT MICHAEL’S POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE was established in the year 1984, as a self financing polytechnic, approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, vide Department of Education , Science and technology, G.O. Ms.No. 1758 dated 07-11-1984.

To be the best polytechnic in providing the latest technical developments to the students along with the leadership traits. To mold them to be quality professionals so as to face the changing world successfully with high ethical standards.
